So I'm finally getting around to reading Hapworth, and Seymour says
something I don't understand.

"Few of these magnificent, healthy, sometimes remarkably handsome boys
will mature. The majority, I will give you my heartbreaking opinion,
will merely senesce."

Senesce? It wasn't on dictionary.com. Anyone willing to give me a
definiteion?
