i have, and once you have seen it, you'll thank your
lucky stars you didn't order it. (thank god for
university libraries!)

the 'bibliography' doesn't deserve to use that term in
its title. i was expecting a volume in the sublette
vein. the weaver volume confines itself to books and
articles from 1982 to 2002 ONLY (no research on
original jds material which has come to light since
sublette's efforts). the 1982 supposedly picks up
where the sublette left off. however, the weaver is
NOT comprehensive in its listings, as sublette's was
(or seemed to be). weaver willy nilly selects books
and articles which he finds interesting or
representative, with his 'comments'--a paragraph or
two of bland summary--following each citation. no
original research has been done, at least that i can
see.

i'll be curious to hear about your reaction to it,
after you've had time to peruse it.

have you seen the new alsen guide to jds?

kim
