Hey all,
Normally I don't post, but I'll make an exception :o)
I joined this list a while back to learn more about Salinger, but I received
more than I anticipated.  This list is full of scholars, and I learn
something from every one of you.  When you go off on tangents about other
artists, I really absorb what you write.  This weekend it paid off!  I went
to a academic meet at Vanderbilt this weekend (do any of you go there), and
the extra knowledge really helped.  Now I wish I had paid more attention to
the ee cummings discussion ;o)

As for Salinger:  I bought my first copy of Nine Stories.
