In a startling turn of events, writer Joyce Maynard said yesterday that she
plans to publish a memoir about her past relationship with J.D. Salinger.

She says she had never read any of his work when she went to live with him
for a period of nine months, but read Catcher while she was there.

It's an intriguing article, to say the least!
