It's funny how so many of us find ourselves some measure of love or sanctuary on this list and with its subscribers. (I'm in the middle of a book by another NYU graduate, Stacy Horn, called "Cyberville," which is about her experience creating an online "place" and nurturing it along.) Ours may have less public conveniences than even a scrawny little town, and, in some periods, a sleepier feeling, but I can say from my own experience that it's been more enriching than I could ever have imagined when I sent my first message along, back in March. (Only March!) > ps, I graduated from nyu too. Mr. Salinger however, chose not to stay > there for very long... During a long night of insomnia, I thought about this, and wondered if this list should quite properly be moved to Ursinus College or Valley Forge. 8-) --tim o'connor
