For me it's the letter that Zooey reads in the bath that Buddy wrote years ago. I remember when I first read that, don't ask me how old I was, probably the last year or two of high school, and it was as if I was reading a letter from someone I'd always known was out there but hadn't crossed my path yet. To this day those few pages alone have the power to get me refocused, centered, inspired, energetic and remind me of just how sane I am when all around me all I find are the confused and the crazy who seem to enjoy being confused and crazy. Sometimes I don't even need to read the whole story, just that letter...sometimes it gets me through the night, sometimes it gets me through the winter. Malcs
