Hello all,
It is nice to be back to this safe, little haven after a long
Thanksgiving weekend. I went to my parents' house for Thanksgiving which
entails bickering, overeating and shopping for Hanson CDs with my 12
year old sister. It was almost more than I could take. I did have one
nice moment though. I was cleaning out my desk and found a paper on
Catcher that I wrote when I was a sophomore in high school. It was
really interesting to see what I had to say back then. "All my words
come back to in shades of mediocrity" as Paul Simon would say.
About living out a JDS story, I bought a hunting hat last winter--green
though--and I have been known to wear it backwards. It can give a nice
Holden feel to an otherwise cold day.
