i think matthew saying that your description of the whole 'on the road'
scene reminded him of the 'generation x' phenomenon.

what do you mean by it's 'an old fad'? 

do you mean that it's really not a 90s thing and that you think it
goes back to kerouac? or do you mean it's old, as in it's not a
buzz word anymore, and hence doesn't exist?

i'm confused again (i really should get out more),
