jesus h. christ on a popsicle stick!  this has turned into the worst post i've
ever made.  nobody got it and so it was stupid.  i was trying to point out to
whoever wrote that bit about kerouac's characters that she was doing the same
damn thing so many members of "generation x" bitch about.  i thought it was
funny.  i wasn't making any generalisations.  (you've made me use your damn
aussie spelling habits of putting an "s" where a "z" belongs.)  [btw: that's
said with my tongue squarely in my cheek]

i am hereby admitting that i made a lame post that wasn't very well thought
out or expressed.  now can we drop it...matt
