I've read Maynard's book and will be happy to rake over Salinger coals
with you...I also publisehd a negative review of her book in my local
paper, met her on her book tour, and believe the fellow at the new yorker
has her number...as did mr. salinger who in Maynard's book makes it clear
she has written worthless gossip and not really learned to write from the
master...will
