I look forward to the book, Will. Your love for poetry combined with an interest in Salinger does not surprise me. I read somewhere that Salinger wanted to be a poet, his favorite mode being that of haiku, but he couldn't get the poetry published. And I find it interesting that salinger has chosen an obscure publishing co. for his _hapworth_, a co. recognized for publishing poetry. Also Ian Hamilton, who wrote _in search of jds_ is better known for his autobiographies of poets like Robert Lowell (I think) than anything else. keeping the candle burning for your book-- m.e. -- M.E.
