Hi everyone!

Thanks for the welcome to the list.

Helena is quite right: U.C.D. is University College Dublin.

The other three American novels in my elective are "Herzog" by 
Saul Bellows, "As I Lay Dying", by William Faulkner and Annie 
Proulx's "The Shipping News". The general theme is the 
dysfunctional male in society.

I haven't joined netsoc in U.C.D. Helena because I have full internet 
access through my Information Studies course.
