I would like to think that this list is not about "obsessing" over an author. I'm not really obsessed with Salinger's writings, and I do sort of learn from them and move on; I see this list not as an underground fan club full of raving fanatics, but as a vehicle for discussing what different people have "learned" from reading the same works of literature. Such discussions are, as I see them, what literary discussion is all about. ________________________________________________________ G.H.G.A.Paterson (804)662-3737 gpaterso@richmond.edu ________________________________________________________
