... which is an interesting kind of implication. That is ... Phoebes and
Esmes *should* become adults eventually; that if they don't, they become
Sally Hayeses? Is that what Holden is attracted to in Sally - her childlike
quality? It certainly seems that way with Seymour and Muriel, especially
when we think about the whole Muriel/Charlotte thing.
