Not only is pasha right, but if Michael really wants to do in lit crit,
why isn't he citing SIA?  I think the folks that want to make lit into
individual reader response and nothing more are just as silly as lit crits
who think their readings are "authoritative."  One of the reasons I love
this list is that it collects reading insights in ways that improve my own
sensibilities...that last phrase is key I think...how we communicate our
reading insights and energy is really the issue...thanks Pasha, will
