I confess, while the best of our list treks off to a Dublin pub I'll be
marching into the belly of the beast...the MLA (Modern Language
Association) runs from 12/27-31 in San Francisco this year...while you are
snuggling up to Joyce and Salinger vibes I'll be up to my ears in elbow
patches with some of literature's most self important assholes...I promise
to think of you and Seymour whenver I'm in an elevator, will

PS: for those asuming that I'm a "native" section man you may take your
innuendo to Davy's but if you don't promise to send me verbatim the
contents of your ashtrays I'll threaten to get lost in the airport and
join you!
