A Clockwork Orange is the only book of Burgess which I read. I thought it= was extraordinary, if only because of the Russian-like slang spoken by th= e gang. For instance "horrorshow" for "good", "cool", which is modelled aft= er the Russian adverb "khorosho" (good, well). Isn't Burgess famous for his literary criticism as well? Paul J
