all,

greatest albums ever? agh. my mind whirls at the thought of reducing it down
to a select few but here it a go-goes . . .

1 - tom waits - oh no! i love them all, i adore waits, god bless his bums,
his hobos, his imprisoned prostitutes, his grifters, his fools and his
filipino box spring hogs. one album? can't do it. all of 'em. best
storyteller in music.

2 - the flaming lips - the soft bulletin - ('is it getting heavy? / 'cause i
thought it was already as heavy as it could be )

3 - bill hicks - rant in e-minor - ah the late and great goat boy, dragged
from this world kicking and screaming in a torrent of political tirade at
the far too premature age of 32. may he be doing stand-up in heaven and
verbally abusing the saints of legend.

4 - talking heads - once in a lifetime (best of) - same as it ever was. same
as it ever was. same as it ever was. same as it ever was!

5 - john coltrane - coltrane - mad sax.

i'm exhausted.
