Adding my two cents to the very un-Salinger like
postings around here lately (Well, maybe not. If
Maurice the elevator operator were posting to
Bananafish, and that's assuming he'd gotten past the
sixth grade - some of *his* posts might fit in here);
which seem to approaching some of the moronic chat
room fare I saw once on Amerikkka-on-Line at a
friend's house a couple of years back (Digression!
...Digression!)....
Uh let's start again. Talk about the brunette
jumping up and down on the railroad tracks??? I mean,
hell it could have been a drunken *frat boy* at six
A.M. on the lam from some George Bush type fraternity
party who gets picked up by police for stopping the
Sunday morning milk train. Daddy bails him out, it's
expunged from his record and he goes on to law school
years go by and he is elected to a backwater state
legislature where he takes pride in introducing all
sorts of terribly right wing bills. To me that's a
pretty dumb brunette - an educated red neck!
Same thing with dumb blondes - I'd like to hear a
bunch of ironic dumb blonde jokes about stupid
conservative guys who step all over themselves,
drowning themselves in contradiction and plain
misinformation.
And as for assholes? Well, the last time I heard
that word used over and over was in the Mel Brooks
film Spaceballs.....
