I've been too busy lately to read a lot of the posts that I've received,
and I'm horrified that in this forum we've stooped to childish
name-calling.  I don't know why this phenomenon always happens when I'm
out of town or distracted.

If you want to fight, do as the bartender instructs: Take it outside.
Show some courtesy to the rest of us.  This is not a place for 
mud-slinging.

It's not MANDATORY to speak of Salinger and his work in every post (like 
Holden, many of us like digressions, as long as they lead us back to 
the topic at hand).

I wanted to point that out for anyone who might be shy about posting.
If you've never done so before, go ahead and write a message introducing
yourself.
