Reminds me of the story about Douglas Adams (told quite happily *by* Douglas
Adams) about how when the first enormous surge of royalties for `The
Hitch-hiker's Guide to the Galaxy' came through, he went out and frivolously
bought a Porsche. So here's this crummy little flat in a seedy part of town
with a brand new Porsche outside it (:

Now I for one would wonder if Salinger would be the kind of guy to give you
a thankyou wave if you let him in on a merging lane (:

P.S. The Bible is one of the world's most interesting books if you consider
it as a book and not necessarily a Book (or The Book)
