Lauren, on behalf of the community here, please accept an apology about
your preferences. We occasionally get into battles here on literature
and writing and, oh, you name it; we do not "bash" people at all. In
fact, if you could tolerate trudging through the archives, you will see
that there have been several instances in which I've stepped in to ask
it to stop (or for people to take it to private mail).

We try very hard to make sure that this is NOT a hostile place, and in
this case I want you to know that you're more than welcome here.

P.S. Ani DiFranco's new album is wonderful and timely and not
"something to get over"; the title song, "To the Teeth," is a biting
song about the waves of teenage gun rampages. Check it out if you don't
already have it! It will take a bit of time for it to sink in, seep
into the consciousness, but the first couple of spins are very good.
