Yes, in Australia, England and Canada, for some unknown reason (probably
because `Esme' had already gained a certain amount of fame) Nine Stories is
published as `For Esme with Love and Squalor and Other Stories'. This gives
you some idea of what us colonials have to put up with. Nothing in a sitcom
is *ever* a surprise (:

To throw my controversal 20 cent piece in here (we don't have quarters in
Australia) Ani diFranco bores the living bile out of me and I wish we could
move on. Patti Smith could teach her a few hundred things about how to be a
female rock star. But don't let's dwell on it because Salinger never wrote
a story about a female rock star.
