I still haven't read it, will, so I cannot comment beyond the fact that the
first chapter excerpt that I found linked to the Times review was truly
readable. If all the book relays such information as this, then yes, it
will be worth the read.

Like Paul Miller said, it's the most well-rounded and best-educated review
that I've read yet. I actually enjoyed reading this one.
But then I haven't seen your review yet, will. I'm still not willing to
plop down my twenty-seven dollars at this juncture, so I'm depending on the
opinion of others, I suppose, until I can reconcile myself to it. Don't
worry-- you've convinced me to read it ... eventually. Sooner or later,
everyone figures out that they've been living in cloud-cuckoo land. It just
takes me a little longer than others.
