Alright, I've never called a cardigan darling, I'll give you that. But
that is only because no one uses it in that context anymore. But YES,
that is how I talk to my friends. I guess it does sound a bit
stereotypical. And I know that you are probably disgusted that I would
describe a boy as not that damn little-boy sweet ... a special kind of
sweet ..... but guess what? When women are chatting among friends,
especially college friends, they don't go for intellectual. They're just
talking -- and it's GIRL TALK. I know you think it's a stereotype, but
that's how it is. Believe it or not.
