PS. I wonder why mr. rovira never mentions that Neo is an anagram of
One? [actually, it's also an anagram of 'oen' which means 'dork' in
Dutch, ;-) but this is completely beside the subject,
rather.]>>

I don't think in anagrams, that's why...it's a silly, shallow thing to
look for and the imagery is pretty up front without the anagram. Your
own projection of the anagram -- (it's also an anagram of 'oen' which
means "dork" in Dutch) -- is exactly the problem with anagrams. Letters
can ALWAYS be randomnly rearranged into other words...but that doesn't
mean the rearranged letters intentionally convey meaning, or that they
are anything more than coincidence. But if you prefer the silly and
shallow...no, you probably won't get much out of that Matrix essay. You
probably didn't understand a tenth of it, and probably because you
haven't read the sources I was writing about... :)

I think I meantioned that "neo" was referred to as "the one" in the
movie -- that paragraph was, I think, an introduction to the religious
imagery permeating the film. The "one" is a messianic appellation as is
"neo" (associated with "new," the "new man," etc.). You don't really
need to play games with letters and words to get this much...
