i wish i could read japanese so as to take avantage of
the extensive (complete?) 'who's who in salinger'
(characters and references) on the website which had
those book covers. (though he does have some
interesting illustrative pics in the who's who, e.g.,
film poster for mrs. miniver.)

it would be interesting to know how many of the other
21 uncollected stories those two volumes, 'inverted
forest, etc.' and 'young folks, etc.', actually
contain.
