Have you all ever thought about Seymour in terms of defense mechanisms? 
In my opinion he doesn't really have much of any, whereas Holden (a 
bananafish too, at least for awhile--I like that theory) has tons and 
tons.

Wasn't it that buddy had written 2 stories, described to be obviously 
Teddy and APDFB, that were both obliquely about Seymour but neither was 
accurate physically or really emotionally, but conveyed his essence, in 
some odd way?...
