We were just talking about this awhile back, it's a shame you missed it.
What little I know is that Nabokov once did a lecture at a university where
he nominated and read excerpts from the works of his favourite authors, and
one of Salinger's was in there. Unfortunately I don't know which one - and
I have no idea (although I'd love to know) if Salinger was a fan of
Nabokov/
