I am an American professor teaching at a Japanese university and am
doing a graduate seminar on Salinger this semester. I have a request for
secondary literature, particularly the 1992 book by Elizabeth Kurian
entitled A Religious Response to the ExistentialDilemma in the Fiction
of JD Salinger. I have tried interlibrary loan here in Japan but no
library has it. If anyone has it and would do me the GREAT favor of
making a photocopy of the book and sending it to me, I will gladly pay
you copying and mailing costs (and pray at a Zen temple for your
felicitious rebirth) or send you any available Japanese edition of
Salinger. I also have some rare out of print Salinger sec. lit. such as
the 1966 Modern Fiction Studies issue which I can photocopy and mail
you. Please email me. Thanks.
