	`...The short stories, the Paris book, the first two novels, 
	parts of the Africa and Death books...'

	How rare & what a pleasure it is to find oneself in complete 
	agreement over a choice of books.  There are bits of the others 
	- For Whom the Bell Tolls, even Across the River... - which I would 
	add on purely sentimental grounds (where I was, WHO I was when 
	I read them & so on.) But when in due course Tim joins me in the old 
	folk's home there will be no discord as we pass our favourites from 
	one wheelchair to the other.
