Unix is the Catholic of OS's. Graphical user interface systems like
MacOS and Win95/NT feature the heretical, user-defined relationship with
God-the-Processor. Conversely, the unix user must submit to somoeone
else's terms, and he never sees God-the-Processor. And there's a system
administrator (always a man without a girlfriend) who is a sort of Pope;
he can fix whatever it is you've done wrong, but he isn't omnipotent.
