I was speaking on behalf of higher powers whose aesthetic dispositions are not necessarily commensurate with my own. Some people have visions, some play with snakes, some speak in tongues--I channel the moral and artistic discrimiations of superinternetural beings. While I happen generally to be ideologically aligned with them, their opinions and mine have to be evaluated on an individual basis before any useful pronouncements can be made about a positive or negative correlation in specific instances. While the discerning reader might have discovered in the meticulously amibiguous syntax and diction some hint of personal scorn for Ayn Rand and her fictions and philosophies, the plain text of the message aimed only to advise the original poster of the scope and capacity of potential replies, and though I cannot deny that my own experience with Ayn Rand induced physical and psychological reactions something short of felicitous, I do not recall having mentioned a hatred of that particular book. -- Matt Kozusko mkozusko@parallel.park.uga.edu
