BUT, I still think her books are important to read.  And I still
winnow out some parts of her philosophies that I like. She does seem
to have a penchant for violent, or at least "strong" sex scenes.  Even
as a teenage I was a little put off in the Fountainhead when it seemed
as if Dominique just neede to be raped to fall in love with Howard.
