I find that Catcher crystalises a certain time of my life where I felt I
was the most capital T teenager. And it will always be an integral part of
that time for me which was, for me at least, the very best time to read it.
As time goes on, your identification shifts to recognition, and then to
empathy, I've found, and there's nothing quite so strong as the feeling of
`Yes, YES! Someone feels the same way I do!!! Finally!' .... on the other
hand here I am still discussing it five (my God!!!) years on and enjoying
every bit of it!
