i hardly think the english are "damn funny". you can say practically 
anything with an american accent and get away with it. the only 
people to be funny with an english accent are those who are too 
english to be true. like the queen, for instance. but try saying 
something that MATTERS with this damn accent and it just sounds 
pathetic. i want to sound like a film star, because then no matter 
how "phony" my words, the falseness becomes the substance of what i 
say and everyone knows it. try singing hole songs with an english 
accent... now, that's funny.
