> I have noticed that American and English humor is different. English > humor, same goes for Australian & Canadian, is more wild and > ridiculous. Look at Monty Python and Mr. Bean compared to Seinfeld(the > best show!) and Saturday Night Live. I also have noticed that English, > Canadian and Australian comedy has more cross dressers for some > reason. I don't know, it's funny to compare the two. Yes that *is* true (:. There's a show over here (Australia) called the Footy Show, where the machoest football players in Australia get around in dresses and make-up. Insofar as American humour goes, I have noticed (from watching Sat. Night Live on cable) that male rape in jail is thought of as absolutely hilarious in America, yet I doubt it would raise a smile from many people over here. The thing that *would* is anyone even suggesting any naughty cigar-play between our prime minister and a young lady. No one would believe it. He's a total jerk.
