I haven't seen "American Beauty" (yet!), but I am really looking forward to "Being John Malkovich" which is supposed to rival "AB" in originality. I must add something towards the way of Salinger, I guess...Um...I'm sure Malkovich is a Salinger fan. Hope that works. Lee
