You make Matt out to be quite a bit like a Glass
family member. As I remember, they were quite prone,
from an early age, to repeatedly reading books
carefully, as well as more than just a bit of high
minded introspection.
Getting a job at a bank or insurance company would get
me back in touch with reality the same way Seymour's
analyst helped him "get a grip." If Matt went through
with that (as per your request), I'd be afraid he'd
end up with a hole too many in his head.
I, for one, promise not to stare at anybody's goddamn
feet - on the elevator or off - and just to let them
be.
