I'm hardly a copyright lawyer, but I don't think it is illegal to sell
such things, only illegal to produce them for sale. I for one have my own
photocopy of an illegal 22 stories, it was probably illegal to copy it but
oh well. I really don't think JD could care. I considered looking up
articles and such but it was too much of a bother. Ironically, I doubt JD
would care for the kind of person who would not just photocophy his works.
Oh well. Holden would be wise enough to photocopy off a copy of some
writings he really liked. I also paid a lot for a set of bootleg Pink
Floyd I own, and I bought it from a commercial chain of music stores that
sells a lot of bootlegs (the Wherehouse).

(pardon my lack of grammar/wit, I've a bit too much of that silly poison
known as alcohol in my system and I just thought I'd sneak in a reply
before offing to bed.)
