Hello, I just subscribed to this mailing list and the welcome message advised
me to introduce myself. It said something about doing this so you could
better understand why I like Salinger; so first of all I actually haven't
finished his works yet. I just began reading him last month (which is
actually a total lie, I read half of "Catcher In The Rye" a few years back)
and have gone respectively through Catcher, Nine Stories, Franny And Zooey,
Raise High The Roof Beam Carpenters, and am currently rounding the finish of
Seymour: An Introduction. I also took in-between time to read Slight
Rebellion Off Madison, but that's the only non-collected story I've read.
Most of all, religious backing and reclusive mystery aside, I enjoy the
dialogue and the narration. And with that, I think I'll save everything else
much more personal and specific for later. I hope that wasn't terrificly
boring, and I'm sorry if it was.
