It was quite fine. I like to think Jerry was with us -- but that we
didn't look hard enough at his seat. We tried to get them to
delegate Will as a pinch-hitter, but the Toronto manager would have
none of it, to our everlasting regret. We had a chance, too, to
admire the groundskeepers at work, and were in general agreement that
it would be a fine job to smooth the dirt at Yankee Stadium, though
Will would be disqualified due to his recent finger injury, I would
be disqualified due to my foot injury, leaving only Paul the Brave to
see to it that things were finely smoothed, just like his radio shows
are done. 8-) Paul and I terrorized the #4 train all the way back
to 14th Street.

Any other Salingeristas out there within shouting distance of Yankee
Stadium, and inclined to see a game? Perhaps we can get a volume
discount for some future game!
