I just checked. I thought there was this book I read a few years back before
high school by Alfred Bester called INVISIBLE MAN. I thought I had found a
copyright infriction. That would have made my week. It turns out, it's called
DEMOLISHED MAN. It won some science fiction award. I remember liking it alot.
It was about greed I think, and was sort of a cross between the great gatsby
and x-men comic books. Has anyone else ever read or heard of this, or at
least Alfred Bester? I think we've all had our little science fiction flings,
and his book, The Stars My Destination, was the best of that genre I've ever
read. But then again, it's probably a load of crap.
