I am compelled to make it known that I sign emails in lower-case for no
reason other than a distaste for the look of the capital "R" in ASCII text.
When using ink and paper, I take full advantage of the capital.

P.S. Nathalie's remark on Scottie's use of "fuck" reminded me of an obscure
joke made by a student at my school while portraying a particularly
straight-laced teacher/professor ("tutor" is the official title here) at a
big party. The impersonation included liberal use of the aforementioned
obscenity, and the explanation that she had learned the word from Lavoisier
who is always fucking the air out of tubes. This sent a large crowd of my
peers into drunken hysterics. Everyone in attendence got the joke, because
we've all read the work of the seminal chemist who is so seldom read today
that modern copies still have the old typesetting with the "f"-like prefinal
lower-case "s". Now I suppose that's not a very interesting story. But at
the time, let me tell you, it was fucking hilarious.
