Amber, I have no insider info on your program or schools but suggest
that you "follow the money" and strongly consider the school that
offers you the best fellowship. I think you can make your phd work in
any of the fine schools you listed but knowing faculty (as Jim
suggests) may be important and worth visiting some of your top
choices.

I do want to see "Good Girl" but with school starting, the chance of
seeing a movie is remote. I'll look forward to more discussion and
try to rent the tape when it comes out, will
