Yep, now I found it... the line is:
"I spoke to mother on the phone last night. Incidentally she sent her
regards to you, so you can relax about that friday night. I don't think
they even heard us come in."
I don't think it is necesarily a reference to sex (maybe just getting home
late?) but I can see how someone would read it that way...
