I used to be completely anti towards the idea of pregnancy, but thinking 
about it, with Salinger being so non-western in so many ideas, what 
about the idea of pregnancy as a spiritual thing?  It very often is, 
just not in America.  Birth and creation... Hmmm.  And PS: I have never 
been able to see the Glass stories as anything but a completely 
connected chronicle.

Bears thinking about.
