now what kind of SHITE is that?  you have to be 19 to understand?
c'mon.  i think my so-called life tried to be the catcher of tv and i
think it was decent and well-done, an admirable attempt on the whole (it
was 1000% better than anything else on tv).  but nothing can ever be THE
catcher of tv.  there is only one catcher in the rye, and that story has
been told so well that it doesn't need a tv version to help explain it.
