Heavens, you're not responsible at all.  In fact, I put that in after a
wide digression ("Digression!") about something else.  I mostly thought it
useful to let the people who have recently joined us know that we do,
indeed, touch on the work of JDS as well as other tangents.  I'm firmly of
the belief that the tangents are well worth exploring....
