Hello Everyone!

Jessica, thank you for the nice welcome. I am glad that I have decided to
write here. Also I think you guys might find it funny/interesting
(probably more the first one) how I stumbled onto J.D. Salinger.
Seriously, it was totally and accident. I love literature and I love to
read so the fact that I love him is no surprise, but how I came to love
him is. I had never read Catcher in the Rye in school or anything like
that because I am homeschooled and it wasn't part of my programm. But I
had heard of the book before and was familiar with the name of the author.
One day I was spending some time at Barnes & Noble (Ah!) and I was walking
by the magazine section and noticed a magizine with a feature article on
Winona Ryder. I know that that is nothing so extraordinary but the
difference is that I am always mistaken for her where ever I go because I
look like her. So I picked it up and started reading it because I was
curious of what she was like (I love her acting). I knew that she liked
books and she had a big collection of them but what I didn't know is that
Catcher in the Rye is like her bible. Did you all now that? I saw you guys
talking about how she would be a good Franny and I thought you might find
that interesting to know. So I decided that I should read the book that
she likes so much. If I look like her, why not? :-) So I actually started
it in the bookstore and finished it early the next morning. I was hooked
and to date have read everything and Zooey twice. Besides Zooey I
particluarly liked Teddy, Seymour: an Introduction, and a few of the other
short stories. But everything he has writen is wonderful! Well, I am done
rambling (to your enternal relief, I'm sure!) and I'll let you go now.

		Take care!
